Italian Hospitality Collection is thrilled to announce that Chia Laguna, Sardinia, saw a record 60% rise in UK tourists visiting during 2016, versus a 15% average increase in Sardinia. This jewel of Sardinia’s southern coast has long been a favourite with British tourists but Italian Hospitality Collection’s five-year, approximately €50 million, investment plan into the resort has provided extensive refurbishments and service updates which have bolstered visitor figures higher than ever before.

The past years have seen the introduction of a myriad of new activities to the resort, including a children’s football academy hosted by Premier League footballers in partnership with Campioni. This year it will run for the third time with an impressive line-up of coaches including the legendary Yannick Bolasie and Andy Cole. A brand-new Campioni Dance Academy run by professional dancer Alexandra Gale will also be launched this year for those who are more rhythmically inclined.
