137 Pillars Hotels & Resorts newest edition; 137 Pillars Suites, showcasing 34 exquisitely appointed suites is scheduled to open on 12 April 2017. The property is a sister hotel to the award-winning 137 Pillars House Chiang Mai, and is located on Sukhumvit Soi 39, a short distance from the upscale and fashionable shopping district of Emquartier/Emporium.
The hotel suites will be located from the 24th to 32nd floor with four categories of one and two bedrooms ranging from 70-127 square meters. Features will include private dining tables, private butler service, maxi bars with wine cellars, user friendly mood lighting, high ceilings, large walk-in wardrobes and stunning marble en-suite bathrooms with chic circular baths complete with built in TV. The sleep experience will be of the highest standard and the spacious balconies will be the ultimate chill zone, complete with the traditional 137 Pillars House signature rocking chair and an oversized day-bed for two, with superb view of the Bangkok skyline. 137 Pillars Suites will be a member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH) (http://www.slh.com/hotels/137-pillars-suites-residences/).
Introductory rates for Suites booked before 30 April (through to the end of December 2017) start from Baht 18,500 (approx USD 524) per night for two people and include fast track immigration service at the airport, private limousine round trip airport transfers, 24 hour butler service, all-day daily breakfast, available from 6.30am-10.30pm, access to exclusive Leonowens Club, use of the hotel’s private London Cab to Emquartier shopping complex and complimentary wi-fi. 137 Pillars Suites will feature the 137 Pillars Hotels & Resorts signature Leonowens Club, the Jack Bain’s Bar and Cigar Divan, and the exquisite Nimitr specialty restaurant featuring Thai favourites with a molecular twist as well Western delicacies created by our Group Executive Chef and Culinary Artist, Peter Marx from Sweden. The Bangkok Trading Post Restaurant on Soi Sukhumvit 39 will be an all-day dining bistro and deli appealing to local residents and guests and will serve Western and Asian favourites as well as freshly baked breads, connoisseur coffee and specialty beverages, to go or dine-in.
Additional features will include the Sky Bar and rooftop infinity edged pool on the 32nd floor. Jack Bain’s Bar and Cigar Divan will be situated on the 28th floor above the specialty restaurant Nimitr on the 27th floor with a beautiful 6 meter ceiling with panoramic views to the City of Angels. (Jack Bain was the owner of the original teak homestead in Chiang Mai which dates back to the late 1800s and after which 137 Pillars House is named.) A spa and wellness center with a separate yoga and meditation sala will offer activities including aerial flow yoga, tai chi, reiki and dance. The 27th floor will also have our feature late check out and early check in pods and separate shower facilities in the event suites are fully booked.
Guests can arrive in ultimate style at the Bangkok BTS Skytrain and MRT underground trains, as well as to the upmarket Emquartier/Emporium shopping complex in the hotel’s classy customized complimentary London Cab. Limousines will also have complimentary wi-fi connection.
