This school run look was inspired by Australian actress (and Green Pebbles Girls friend) Gabriella Maselli’s latest advert for the NRMA (see below – and cringe… because you know we’ve all been there at least once in our life!)
desig-N-guyen’s Colour of Eden silk top comes on one size fits all, it looks great (even if a little creased!) and is long enough to cover any extra ‘hips or bottoms’ (you know what we’re talking about!) and it can be worn over a fitted t-shirt if it’s a bit cold in the morning, and of course you can always dress it up for the evening with a pair of black trousers and heels!
The white stretch denim from Citizens of Humanity and available from Jades 24 also require little if any ironing (or as one Green Pebbles Girl once described them ‘iron on jeans’!) .
The Red suede stretch ballerina’s from Tods are as close as you can get to a pair of comfy slippers without falling into the ‘stepped out of the house in my dressing gown and slippers look Gabriella is sporting in the ad).
The Limited Edition Hair on Cowhide “It’s a Shoe In” handbag from Oscar & Anna is a fantastic looking bag which thanks to its two separate compartments means you can throw all your last minute essentials into the top compartment: lipstick, mascara, minty chewing gum, iphone etc etc and in the bottom you can throw in anything from your heels, to the kids’ snacks!
The final touch, just so it actually looks like you made an effort is the beautiful bracelet from Sorelina Jewels Rock and Raw collection.
Now you have no excuse!
See you next week for School Run Look N° 3 (Autumn is on its way)!
